TRIP ESSENTIALS
Overview
This 9-day tour is a complete loop through the most iconic spots of Kyrgyzstan. We’ll start from Bishkek and head into the Tien-Shan mountains using 4×4 SUVs to reach places where ordinary cars can’t go. You’ll visit the ancient Burana Tower and head to the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, stopping at the scenic Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe gorges. We’ll spend time in Karakol, drive up to the Altyn-Arashan hot springs, and explore the red formations of Skazka Canyon.
A big part of this trip is about the nomadic lifestyle. You will watch a traditional eagle hunting show in Bokonbaevo and head deep into the mountains to stay in a yurt at Song-Kul Lake. We’ll also travel to the remote border area to see Kel-Suu Lake. To reach the lake itself, we will take a horseback trek through the wild mountain terrain. It’s a straightforward, active trip designed to show you the real mountains, the best lakes, and the local way of life.

Our journey continues into the remote At-Bashy region toward the Kok-Kiya Valley. The landscape shifts from green pastures to a harsh, lunar-like terrain of jagged cliffs and deep canyons. We will reach a remote guesthouse near the border zone by evening.
