Itinerary

Day 1.Almaty city- Arrival

Welcome to Central Asia! After a smooth airport transfer, relax at your hotel. Your day is free to explore Almaty at your own pace.  Cafes and restaurants are nearby, or we can whisk you up to the stunning Kok Tobe viewpoint. We’ll cap off the day with a delicious welcome dinner at a local ethnic restaurant.

Day 2.Almaty city-Charyn Canyon

Fuel up for a morning adventure! Today, we explore Charyn Canyon, Central Asia’s mini-Grand Canyon. Hike through the dramatic landscape, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the scenery, and then head to Saty village. Immerse yourself in local life as we visit a Kazakh family, stay in their charming guest house, and savor a delicious home-cooked meal. Explore the village at your own pace and experience Kazakh hospitality firsthand.

Day 3.Charyn Canyon-Kolsai Lake-Kaindy Lake

After breakfast, we head to Kolsai Lake, one of the most popular destinations, offering stunning views with the Tien-Shan Mountain range in the background. After lunch, we’ll visit Kaindy Lake, known for its unique submerged forest. We’ll spend the night at the same guest house.

Day 4.Saty Village-Karakol city (Kyrgyzstan)

Today, we depart Kazakhstan and journey into Kyrgyzstan, crossing the border. The border crossing will take approximately an hour and a half. We will have lunch en route to Karakol by the river. In the afternoon, we’ll   visit city tour in karakol . We’ll spend the night at a guesthouse in Karakol, where we’ll also have dinner.

Day 5.Karakol-Altyn Arashan gorge (trekking 16 km)

After breakfast, we’ll set out on a trek to the Altyn-Arashan gorge. Remember to wear your trekking shoes and bring water. Our guide will lead you through this lush green valley along the river, providing a serene escape from city life. After the hike, you can unwind in a natural hot spring, taking in the view of Palatka Peak. We’ll spend the night at a lodge.

Day 6.Altyn Arashan gorge-Jeti Oguz gorge

Today, we begin the day with a thrilling ride in a 4×4 truck, which will take us back to where our trekking journey began. From there, our driver will meet us, and we’ll embark on a 30-minute drive to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, known for its striking red rock formations. We’ll spend the night at a yurt camp, where cozy beds await in the warm interior.

Day 7.Djeti Oguz gorge-Bokonbaeva

Today’s journey leads us along the southern shores of Ysyk-Kul, the world’s second-largest alpine lake, akin to Peru’s Titikaka. Dive into the crystal-clear waters for a refreshing swim, then venture to the whimsical fairy tale canyons. Admire the majestic snow-capped mountains framing the landscape. Don’t miss the spectacular Barskon waterfall. As night falls, find comfort in a cozy guest house, ready to recharge for more adventures tomorrow.

Day 8.Bokonbaeva village- Song Kol lake

Today, we’re off to Son-Kul lake, where endless meadows stretch as far as the eye can see. At 3000m altitude, it’s home to nomads living in cozy yurts. Experience their way of life firsthand before bunking down in a yurt camp for the night.

Day 9.Song Kol Lake -Tash Rabat Caravansarai

Today, our adventure takes us along the fabled Silk Road to Tash Rabat, an ancient caravanserai nestled amidst the rugged terrain. Constructed from sturdy stones, it stands as a testament to the travelers of old. Traverse through awe-inspiring mountain passes, where every twist and turn reveals a new wonder. As day turns to night, find solace in the embrace of a yurt camp, under the vast expanse of the starlit sky.

Day 10.Tash Rabat-Kel Suu lake

Today, we’re adding a twist to our journey: horseback riding to reach the breathtaking Kel-Suu lake. With special permits in hand, we venture into remote Kyrgyzstan, close to the Chinese border. As we ride amidst snowcapped mountains, immerse yourself in the raw beauty of the landscape. At nightfall, find comfort in a yurt camp, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

Day 11. Kel Suu Lake-Naryn city

Following breakfast, we’ll have some time to explore the nearby areas before heading off to Naryn city. The drive will take us approximately 5 hours, winding through picturesque mountain landscapes. As we traverse the rugged terrain, take in the breathtaking views along the way. Upon reaching Naryn, we’ll check into a hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Day 12.Naryn City-Bishkek City

Today’s journey takes us to Bishkek city, the vibrant capital of Kyrgyzstan. Upon arrival, we’ll check into a hotel for an overnight stay. As night falls, we’ll transfer to the airport for our departure.

The price does not include plane, train or intercity bus tickets, other transportation and transportation services other than those specified in the program, tips for staff or other expenses not included in the program

What form of payment do you accept?

Usually our clients pay in cash upon arrival at our place, but payment by bank transfer is also possible

Are there any changes to the program?

In the event of an unforeseen situation, when some service cannot be implemented or changes in the route occur for reasons beyond the control of our company, we will make an alternative version of our program that is not inferior to the previous one

What to pack?
