Itinerary

Day 1. Almaty-Charyn canyon-Saty village

Drive: 300 km-4 h

Fuel up for an adventure! Explore Charyn Canyon, often called Central Asia’s “mini-Grand Canyon.” Enjoy a hike through the dramatic landscape and a picnic lunch amidst breathtaking scenery. Head to Saty village for an authentic Kazakh experience, including a home-cooked dinner and a cozy stay with a local family.

Day 2. Saty Village – Kolsay Lake – Kaindy Lake – Saty Village

Drive: 50 km-1 h

Begin your day with a visit to Kolsay Lake, a beautiful spot surrounded by the Tien Shan Mountains. Take time to enjoy the clear waters and peaceful views, perfect for a short walk or just relaxing by the lakeshore. After a lunch break, continue to Kaindy Lake, a truly unique place with its submerged forest and striking turquoise waters. Learn about its history and enjoy the quiet, scenic surroundings. By evening, return to your guesthouse in Saty Village. End the day with a delicious dinner and relax, ready for the adventures ahead.

Day 3. Saty village-Karakol (Kyrgyzstan)

Drive: 240 km-4 h

Cross into Kyrgyzstan through the scenic Kegen Valley, where rolling hills and rugged mountain peaks create a stunning backdrop. Continue through the peaceful Karkyra Valley, known for its wide meadows and unspoiled natural beauty. As you travel, take in the serene landscapes and enjoy the opportunity to pause and appreciate the breathtaking views. Arrive in Karakol by evening and check into your accommodation. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant, where you’ll experience the rich flavors of traditional Kyrgyz cuisine.

Day 4. Karakol-Djeti Oguz gorge-Barskon waterfall-Fairytale canyon-Bokonbaevo

Drive: 140 km-5 h

Travel along the south shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, stopping at the picturesque Jety-Oguz Valley for a short hike to admire its famous red rock formations and serene landscapes. Continue to Barskoon Gorge, known for its stunning waterfalls and dense spruce forests, where you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch in a cozy yurt. Afterward, explore the vibrant Fairy-Tale Canyon, filled with colorful and unique rock formations. Arrive in Bokonbaevo to witness an impressive eagle-hunting demonstration, a cherished local tradition, before ending the day with dinner and warm hospitality at a local guesthouse.

Day 5. Bokonbaevo-Bishkek

Drive: 280 km-5 h

After a restful night in Bokonbaevo, begin your journey back to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. On your way, make a stop at the bustling Osh Bazaar, a vibrant market where you can explore local foods, spices, textiles, and handmade crafts, offering a taste of Kyrgyz culture. Upon arriving in Bishkek, head to Ala-Too Square, the central gathering place in the city, where you can take in the views of the surrounding mountains and admire the local landmarks. Visit the impressive White House, the seat of the government, located nearby. End the day by checking into a comfortable hotel in Bishkek.

What form of payment do you accept?

Usually our clients pay in cash upon arrival at our place, but payment by bank transfer is also possible

Are there any changes to the program?

In the event of an unforeseen situation, when some service cannot be implemented or changes in the route occur for reasons beyond the control of our company, we will make an alternative version of our program that is not inferior to the previous one
